If you know me well, you know that I’m constantly looking for pretty pieces to hang on my walls. I always have the most difficult time picking out art, because when I display something in my home, I want it to inspire me and bring me joy when I look at it, not just take up space on an empty wall. I love pieces that are bright and cheery, and it never hurts if they have some sort of coastal aspect to them. Add an interesting fact or story to the piece, and I’m sold on it!
A couple of months ago, I came across Claudia Chloe’s Fine Art Aerial Photography and completely fell in love with her pieces. I knew right away that I wanted to feature her photography on my blog and was over the moon when Claudia agreed to collaborate! I had originally planned to feature the piece in a gallery wall (post coming soon on that!), but I loved it so much, that I knew it needed an extra special place in my home. Not only are her photos absolutely stunning, but she hangs out of a helicopter to get the images. I love that her artwork not only looks gorgeous hanging on a wall, but it also is a great conversation starter— who isn’t interested in talking about a photo taken by someone dangling out of a helicopter!?
I chose the 20″ x 30″ Paddleboarders print to hang above my couch, but I also adore her Wildwood VI and Cape May IV images (how fun are those umbrellas!), and I love the idea of combining a few different prints to create a gallery wall of aerial beach photography. Each piece is signed and dated, which I think makes them even more special. Thanks, Claudia, for letting me feature your stunning photos!
