I’ve been a Kendra Scott fan for a few years now, and I’ve always loved my Rayne tassel necklaces (they’re seriously the best ever), but for whatever reason, I was hesitant to try all of the other tassel accessories and clothes that have been so trendy lately. I just didn’t think they were my thing, especially on clothing. I’m still a little bit picky when it comes to which pieces I allow into my wardrobe, but I think it’s safe to say that I’ve now fully embraced the tassel trend. In fact, I’ve found myself wearing some sort of tassel multiple times a week lately. They’re just so much fun!
I recently received this Lilly Pulitzer Alanna dress and finally got to wear it out this past weekend for a fun coffee date with my friend, McKenzie. I officially fell in love with it, tassels and all. My exact dress is sold out, but you can find some other fun Lilly pieces with tassels here and here. I tried the Ellie dress on a few weeks ago, and the sweet ladies in the store nearly convinced me to take it home with me. I refrained, but it may be finding a home in my closet sometime in the near future! I paired my dress with J. Crew’s tassel earrings (I hesitated to buy these for a long time, but I finally did, and they are GORGEOUS in person!), and my cork carry-all clutch from Mud Pie, which also happens to have a gold leather tassel on the zipper. Because apparently when I embrace a trend I really embrace it.
